Everyone was for a surprise, especially with paper-I. It seemed that examiner gave a miss to the conventional topics, or rather we can say the topics that generally did not feature so frequently were in the spot light. Main problem was with preparing Experimental designs...... because the question on Learning included some Bernoulli method of design which I have never heard of. Also Chomsky was repeated which many had given a miss because it had been coming for a while. But the question on Attitude was straight forward and so was developmental psychology.

This years paper was very conventional. Unlike last year paper that required a lot of effort and had varied questions, this years Paper-I was relatively general. They did not ask Social Audit or Anti-Development Thesis etc. which was being expected, rather they stuck to old guns like - NPM, Policy Analysis etc.

In short paper was relatively easier but this is where the problem lies, because it became easier for everyone, and then the going gets tough. Marking may become more strict and it would not be easy to score high marks.

Public Administration Test (Prelim) Series is starting at Synergy, Delhi from 4th Jan 2009 onwards. It consists a total of 12 tests including 3 full syllabus tests. I think it is both at the Mukherjee Nagar and Karol Bagh center.
